I have purchased the seeds in April and was waiting for the weather above 50s to start planting my grass. I planted seeds may 9, i scarred the grass, added new soil and planted the seeds. But unfortunately only about 10% of the seeds started growing, the rest are still in the soil, I can easily dig them out and none are sprouting. Even heavy rains didn’t trigger the growth. Customer service just ignored me, no one wanted to help me to solve the issue. Seeds from Home Depot growing much better on my backyard. Wanted to support local business, but oh well, big stores have way better costumer service. Wouldn’t recommend this company.

For many years I did what so many of us do, I bought my grass seed from several different big box stores. I tried sooo many different brands hoping to have better results. Then I stumbled across a video from Ope.itsmowtime. He was discussing the importance of where we buy our seed from. His advice, simply read the menu label on the seed. WOW! That was about 3 years ago. I have been buying from Twin City Seed Company ever since with tremendous results! The folks there really know their seed and can guide you the correct seed for your particular situation. The best part...when you take into account the amount of "not grass seed...actual weeds!" in seed you buy at box stores, Twin City Seed is actually a much better value. An added bonus is you WON'T find new mysterious weeds growing in your lawn that you actually unknowingly planted from that box store seed!

After learning about TCS from several lawn care YouTubers I decided to give them a try. I had purchased seed locally from big box and from a more local seed company in the past however never could get the results I wanted. Finally ordered TCS Obsidian and mixed in a little Blue Envy as well for a complete renovation for my NC Smoky Mountain home. The results were clear and I've been ordering TCS ever since. Ordering, communication, shipping, and results have been great. 2nd year buying seed from Twin City. I live in the southern tip of the transition zone in upstate SC. Used Blue Resilience last year and had phenomenal results except for fully shaded areas, but I always struggle here due to limited sunlight. Went with Tuff Turf after dark this year. Seed was planted 14 days ago and so far the results have been excellent. I've attached photos in order from last year to now. The last photo is the germination and growth over the last 14 days on the Tuff Turf.

My grandsons told me about Twin City Seed. My husband died last year and I wanted to bring back our grass for him.I've ordered three times now and I can't say enough about the Blue Resilence seed I'm buying. I'm getting ready to aerate and topseed again for fall. I'm so excited about my grass. The before (May 2025) and after pictures (Sept. 24, 2025) tell everything. We have used lots of seed from local box stores, nothing, nothing compares.
